Why now may be the best time to rebrand your business

It wasn’t easy, entirely rebranding our business. New name. New logo. New website. New social media strategy. The full works!  

As we begin to settle into the second national lockdown, for England at least, as a result of the UK governments plan to try and avoid overwhelming our incredible NHS with more Covid-19 cases than it can handle, we’ve begun to reflect on the first lockdown.

We look back at the opportunities it presented rather than the uncertainties that came with it. 

Whilst anticipating that things might be a little quieter than usual, we used this time to do all the things we’ve said we’d like to do in the business (and at home – home-baked sourdough anyone?), but never really had the time to fully focus all of our collective energy on.

There were questions; was this the right thing to do? was it the right time to do it? The thing about these two questions, in particular, is that you’ll never know the answer until you actually ask them, which means taking the bull by the horns and jumping right in.  

For us, the rebrand has been a massive success.

The key was making the whole process one that involved every member of the team. There were many hours of Microsoft Teams meetings discussing names and ideas, weeks of workshopping ideas and directions. It was a real team effort! The result, an instantly recognizable brand mark that sits next to a memorable brand name, one that sparks conversation, a slick, dynamic website to show off who we are and what we do, and a vibrant and engaging social media presence.
